Thought Keith was on baby grand for the first few songs, which is why the organ surprised me. But I think he is on electric piano, so you are probably right.
It really adds something nice to this version of the song. Have there been any threads about Keith's organ work? To me it's one of the things that has always stood out about 5/08/77, for example, but I don't know that I've ever seen it discussed that Keith plays a whole lot of great organ that night.
It is a beautiful song, and I shouldn't have generalized that everyone hates it just because I remember one thread ragging on the goofy lyrics. Goofy lyrics aside, these early versions are terrific because of the pace, and the solo vocal. Bob writes great music, that's all there is to it.

hey, that's ok...and along with gorgeous chord progressions i'll admit i'm a bit of a chump when it comes to sappy lyrics, even the ones my wife can't stand :)
